Phase 5

Erin Long with Luann Overmyer supervising

Nashville, TN

In Phase 5 we delve into a more subtle sensing, feeling, and noticing with our clients. This allows us to track and release larger patterns, offer more varied stimuli for individuals to respond to, and be freed from “doing”.

This Phase bridges the gap between the physical, Phase 4, and the energetic, Phase 6. The presence or beingness that characterizes Phase 5 invites the self- corrective capacity of the body to emerge. It creates the mood for spontaneous movement to happen as we surrender the idea of doing and let the inherent capacity of the person guide us.

Utilizing the reflexes and Phase 5 presence, exercises for the shoulder, ilium, psoas, ribs, eyes, jaw, cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, sacrum, coccyx, balancing of the ischial tuberosities, pubic bone, and ears will be presented and practiced.
