Ortho-Bionomy is a gentle form of bodywork that can release tension and discomfort in the body. The techniques applied are easy to learn and stimulate the body's natural self-corrective reflexes, releasing tension patterns and helping the body come back into balance. This class covers the history, philosophy, and principles of Ortho-Bionomy, as well as learning observation skills and the ability to recognize subtle changes that signify the release of tension and contractual patterns in the muscles and connective tissues. It is easy on the client and the practitioner. This class is open to massage and other bodywork therapists, movement educators, and anyone interested in pain relief for themselves, friends, or family.
