Qualifications: BA in Psychology, Certified Hypno- therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Advanced instructor of massage and Ortho-Bionomy; Specializing in trauma resolution and couples work
Teaching Subjects: I love to teach just about everything in the curriculum, though Exploration of Movement, Phase 5 & 6 and Isometrics are especially fun for me. My other specialties include Trauma Resolution, Communication Skills, Marketing and integrating all aspects of our life and work into a cohesive whole. I also offer a variety of techniques to clear outdated beliefs and no longer useful behavior patterns. Most of all, I offer love and compassion for whatever is happening in your life and support for when you are ready for a change.
Philosophy: I believe that we all do the best we can under the circumstances being. Lack of inner and outer resources, stress and trauma limit our options and ability to choose. I believe that when given the opportunity and support, most of us will choose well-being and love. I support the movement toward life-affirming choices and connection with the divine in whatever way is appropriate for the people I work with.
Biography: I was born and raised in Germany and came to the States as an exchange student when I was 16. I returned to the US in 1981 when I met the man I later married on a ferry boat from Vancover island to the US. I learned about OB during my training in massage school and met Arthur soon thereafter. I translated for Arthur in Germany and assisted him with workshops and sat in on his sessions for many years. I studied OB with many of the original instructors and also added other modalities and techniques like process oriented psychology, soulcraft techniques, sound healing, art therapy, Authentic movement and communications skills to my repertoire. The principles of Ortho-Bionomy are the guidelines for all the work I offer. Learning new things is one of my biggest passions. I am always developing new tools on how to help people better. I developed specific techniques for trauma resolution for clearing outdated beliefs and habits. After leaving the S.F. Bay Area where I had lived for more than a decade, I moved first to Utah and then to Prescott AZ to be in close connection with the natural world. Nature is one of my biggest teachers and inspirations.
Travel: I only travel occasionally now, though if you invite me to a beautiful natural place, I will be much more inspired to show up :)
